Ministry of Education Releases  New Training Policy.

The Ministry of Education has recently released the new revised training policy.

This has resulted from issues that were brought up during the education forum.

Secretary for education, Mr. Seve Paeniu says, that the revised policy aims to address deficiencies in the education system concerning training and scholarship wards.

He says, that although government recognizes that tertiary education does not only improve Tuvalu’s economic and social development it also promotes self-reliance among its people.

However, the new changes in the policy would require students to complete his or her course of study when offered the first scholarship but subject in being terminated if incomplete.

On the other hand he or she can re-apply until three years have lapsed following termination of her or his previous award.
