HONIARA, Solomon Islands (May 15, 2000 - Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation/PINA Nius Online)---The Honiara-based Forum Fisheries Agency http://www.ffa.int/  has appointed Tuvalu Attorney General Feleti Teo as the organization’s new director.

Teo was chosen from a roster of candidates from Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Tonga.

He will take up his new post at the end of the year.

He will replace outgoing director, Palau's Victoria Uherbelau.

Teo was elected by FFA's governing body, the Forum Fisheries Conference.
